How I got my first Job after college

I started pursuing Btech in 2009 and through so many ups and downs, I have completed my Btech although I didn't get my degree because I had some subjects in my backlog, so I needed to clear them to get my degree, It was another going through hell like struggle however I got my degree in 2016.

During that time when I was fighting to get my degree, my family even started to say that I didn't complete it, I was just lying to them about it from the start and what not, I have heard so many things and got no support from anyone, Tried so many things and failed, gave money to so many peoples who made me believe that they will help me out getting my degree but as expected nothing happened, they were just making the fortune out of my misery. However, after so many years of beating around the bush, finally I got my degree.

but after completing college, I didn't have any financial support from my family from the very start, so it was very hard for me to survive.

After completing college, I had to find something to make a living, in the fourth year of the degree, the college invited some of the companies, I gave interviews, and got selected by Micromax, It was a smart mobile phone company at that time, they were trying to capture the market that time but got failed and got beaten by competitors.

Coming back to my selection at Micromax, they were asking us to sign a 3 years contract, which was a major red flag or at least we saw it that way at that time, to whoever I discussed it, they denied to join it. so I just declined the offer and after a few days whoever joined I remember fadedly, they were laid off too because the plant was closed.

However for me, it was a very tough time, I remember, after the last day at college, When we had to vacate the hostel, I packed our bag and left for my hometown, There is no life and things run very slowly, not new you always find life is running very slow in small cities, It was again a very stuck in a hook kind situation for me, I had to move out from there, anyhow, I talked to my college friend, He said, we are not gonna find anything by sitting at home so let's go to Delhi, stay there and try to find a job

I said okay and went there the very next day by getting the general class train ticket, His home was in Modi Nagar, so I went there at his house first and then stayed there for one day, next day we both left for Delhi, We reached there and started finding a cheapest PG first, we rushed to everywhere that evening, got no luck and had no place to stay anywhere, so ended up staying at Railway station in the night, I remember we spent almost 10 to 15 nights sleeping at the station only, every morning we just got up, went to public washrooms, got ready and left to find any lead to give interviews, Finally
we found a PG in Indrapuram, It was for 5K per person with a meal, And we have given an interview in 139 railway inquiry and got selected there, we started going there, and they offered 8K per month as salary, but they said the salary will start after the training period which was for 15 days, Which was a very pathetic thing now when I think about it, But the real problem, our rent of PG was started from day one and we both started to lose all the money by that time, after going 4 5 days, the time came when we didn't even have the money to cover our travel expense to go to the office to attend the training, I remember it was around 50 60 rupees both sides, the day came, we had no money and it was impossible for us to go and attend the training, so we left it and planned to abscond the PG as well because the time was coming when the PG owner will ask for rent and we didn't have any money, so we had to leave and came to a friends place, stayed there for few days tried searching for a job but had no luck, Finally the time came when we realise that we are not gonna make it, so we planned to leave back to our places, Had no money in our pockets, so travelled by train in general class without ticket, came back to Budaun. no gain but lost so much weight.

I was so devastated and depressed at that time, So I joined a gym and started looking after my health, My friend was working with Bajaj Allianz so I joined with him, it was not a salaried job, we were on a commission, so we have just gone with it and started working on it, worked there for 8 9 months but earned not much but just to survive.

During that time I was continuously applying for jobs, so I joined Vodafone and started working in my hometown only, they offered me 15K per month at that time, so I worked there for 9 10 months and then I got an opportunity to join Signature Global in Gurgaon in 2016. So, In a nutshell, this was all about my first job experience.
